February, Isagenix, and Findlay Dog

My porch calendar at work is so pretty.  I love porches and sun rooms!  I was glad to see February.  Always a short quick month and brings the thoughts of spring.  It's still packed with very cold weather at times too, but we begin to get daffodils and the trees begin their bud swelling and we'll get a couple of 60 degree days more than likely.

My friend has given me some of the Isagenix products to try and I'm really liking them and how they make me feel.  This drink was so good yesterday.  It was a citrus (kinda like Gatorade) drink - packed with nutrients.  It was so good.

I'm so tempted to whip out the credit card and order the whole system.  But I can't do that to George.  We are wanting to buy the TV.  All of this would  be food replacements  that would replace most of my monthly breakfast and lunch purchases from the store and from eating out.  The grocery bill would go down.  But I'm not sure that I could do the shakes and power bars forever all back to back.  After two days - I'm kinda wanting something different this morning.  I want to pick and choose when I have the meal replacements.  lol  We'll see.  I will save up money and then see about doing it.  I feel like if I can pay for over half of it - he'll be ok with it.  It's been nice this week just to have most of my meals ready to go.  And it's been nice how these things make me feel as they are putting proper nutrients in my body.

So last night while George and Katy were out - I had a nice relaxing time at home.  As you can see our den is rather hilarious with various dog beds sitting around.  I sat in the recliner and Findlay wanted to sit in my lap.  I was very surprised.  She stayed there most of the night til her Momma got home.  Her Momma would not have that.  She is afraid Findlay will see us as her caretakers and will bond with us to much and forget she is her Momma.  lol  She has told us she wants to feed her and take her out as much as possible.  We told her she could feed them but they are all on the same schedule now - you can't feed 3 and have the other feel left out.  lol

I'm so thankful that my friend Lisa has shared this with me (with my prompting - I came to her asking questions after needing to do something to help my muscles, energy, etc).  I like feeling good, and it's a goal to save up so I can get started and doing more of the whole thing.  They have greens and fruits - powder so you can make smoothies and all - and add to your shakes.  They also have coffee that has gone through a process to take any mold out.  Anyway, we'll see.

Well I better go make sure Kate is up and didn't forget to set alarm.

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooo glad it is Friday!  But I did get a lot done last night in cleaning up a bit while I was at home by myself - that is until I hit the recliner - lol.

Take care.

  1. I love your blog topper and also the porch calendar. I'm a porch sitter and it's one of my favorite places to be when I cannot be on the beach. It is like doggy heaven there at your house and everyone has a place to be cosy and comfy. I don't think there would be any doubt about who is Findlay's momma. But if Katy wants to take over feeding that would be one less thing you'd have to do. I'm sure your dogs will miss her when she leaves too. it is a very cold Friday here, but I'm going to get out anyway as there is a new discount clothing store that has opened in our area and I need to check it out. Hope you have a fantastic day !

  2. I love your pj pants with the owls. Your little doggies look very content. I am glad they all get along. If the shakes improve your health and make you feel better, it is worth every penny. I love protein shakes and bars. I drink protein shakes every day.

  3. love your calendar. looks like the Isagenix products are a good thing for you if you can afford to add them to your diet.
