Rattling on About Having a Day that Was ALL MINE!

Ahhhh, how WONDERFUL it was yesterday that there were no plans.  Don't tell George but they drew my name at work to get Titans Football tickets for yesterday and I turned them down.  lol
No way was I giving up my only day to myself to a darn football game.  Speaking of defense - I have defended my day like nothing else.  I did gratefully say thank you but no thank you.

So the day yesterday was bliss - to be home and not go anywhere.  I had a lot to do.  And enjoyed every bit of it.

Laundry
Iron
Put Up Clothes
Set up the Diffuser to go
Clean Kitchen
Reboot Dishwasher
Swept Kitchen Floor
Unpacked Suitcase from Global Celebration from 2 weeks ago
Packed my Cleansing Box for tomorrow.
Packed my snack bag for the week with Vitamins, Ionix, drinks, e-shots, and snacks
Unpacked all the Target boxes
Reset my Isagenix Autoship for Sept
Did an Isagenix order for things I need now
Touched base with Mom on our outing time for today
Got caught up with the Mind and Body program
Took things downstairs for Storage
Cooked a taco casserole

Worked on our Sip and Savor event.

It was a great day!  It doesn't sound exciting but it thrilled me.

George ran errands - going to the bank and looking for yard sales and to the store for us.

I played Alexa most of the day - Had it on Paul Simon and then switched to the 80's music while cooking.  I let the day go by and never got to blog yesterday.  I thought about it a few times but just never stopped to get it done.

We had slept til 9:30 yesterday morning.  We had been out late the night before.  George had tickets to the Jeff Beck concert for us.  After the concert the group wanted to eat Hot Chicken so off we went.  Hattie B's is open til midnight.  We got home about 1:30 in the morning and in bed by 2:00.  So that is why we slept so late.  It was a great sleep though.  So my day yesterday was incredibly short.  I basically slept through my blog time is what happened.  Once the day gets going it's hard to find time to come back to it.

Here's my cleanse day box.....

It's packed with the deep berry drink (2 tiny bottles per serving- aren't they cute?).  I do a schedule that is akin to this:

*Drink my Ionix (B vitamin mix and stress formula- it's very calming) 8:00 a.m. ish
*Take my a.m. vitamin pack usually with this mixture as well.
*Cleanse for life (2 bottles over ice) 9:00 a.m. ish
*IsaDelight - a caramel salted chocolate square 10:00 a.m. ish
*Two Snack Rounds (suck on them) and a cup of decaf coffee 11:00 a.m ish

Then start the Cleanse for Life, IsaDelight, and Snack Rounds over again for round 2 at Noon, 1 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.  And then again another cycle at 3 p.m. of the same.  Then again at 6 p.m. with the deep berry drink and instead of doing the chocolate and the little snack buttons, I actually do a bag of Whey Thins at 7:00 and then try to go to bed by 8:30 or 9:00.

I love cleanse day.  It's easy b/c you get something every hour and you are not hungry.  You feel like you are doing your body a favor and you are.

I'm excited to try the recipes in this book that I got at Global Celebration.

However, the recipe I fixed last night is from this one.

A big note though - I added a lot more seasoning.  What they mention here is not nearly enough.  We added guacamole.

Just a pic of the roma tomatoes and anaheim pepper that I chopped.

Also snapped these on my phone for oil blend recipes and sharing with you.  I really liked these.  I am using the Breathing one in the house today as our sinuses have been messed up this week.  I may or may not use twice the recommended amount below.

I also put this behind my calendar where it sticks out on the side.  It's my inspiration.

Oh, Friday I was in such a mood.  Just the aggravation of the week.  So it's been good to have some home time and de-stress.  At this point in my life, I am finding that I really don't want nor need this much stress in my life.  I'm just saying.  But having a day at home was just what I needed - not that I'll be accepting of any more stress when tomorrow comes.

So anyway, we will be taking Mom to eat today for her birthday meal!  A month late.  Originally Mom wanted to cancel because it was supposed to storm and then our schedules were booked until now.  Mom also had said to wait until the passing of George's Mom and funeral.  So we are all passed that and hopefully no storms today.  We just booked it with Mom and not the entire extended family as she had said that my sister said that we'd do it separately since it is so hard to get it all together at the same time.  So we did as told and it's just us three going today.

And I need to be off for a shower.

Take care!
